My sister and I went to Banilad Town Center yesterday afternoon primarily because I wanted to see the set-up of the so-called Cebu Food Market. I never got to buy anything. Sayang. I wanted to sample the famed Tinumis pa naman. Maybe next time, huh? We just wanted to get a feel of the place since it had been ages since we were there. How long ago? Let's just say there was still a Go Nuts Donuts branch in the area the last time I remembered. Going back to the food market, I hope more concessionaires will join the group. Cebu needs a counterpart to the booming food market bazaars in Manila lately.
Anyways, we managed to snag something from the grocery though. These speculoos spreads are everywhere, huh? Well, only at Robinson's supermarkets, that is. This one's called Biscrips. The label says crunchy but for me it tasted more like the creamy variety type. Oh well, at least I got to sample it. I'll stick with Poppies the next time my supply runs out.
Ever since Star Trek Into Darkness introduced to the awesomeness that is Benedict Cumberbatch, I've been convinced by friends to start watching BBC's Sherlock. Well, I did. I saw two episodes so far and they were right about how this series will have you at the edge of your seat. Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman play off each other really well that it makes the chemistry between Holmes and Watson believable. Thank goodness this only has six episodes. It won't be that draining to binge-watch. Hehe!
Megan Young's victory at the recent Miss World beauty pageant has put the whole country in a such a good mood lately. Isn't it wonderful to wake up to nothing but positive news? I hope the new week will bear nothing but positive news for me.
