If only my life was like a chick lit novel.

Barely two weeks to go before my trip to Manila and the details are still hazy. I have no idea where we'll be staying, I have no dress yet and most of all, I have no return ticket. Haha! Maybe if I'll laugh this off our plans might have some semblance of order. Right now, the ball isn't on my court anymore.

Lunch with @tikangski earlier. Para maiba naman. #friedchicken #kennyrogers #foodstagram
My sister and I met up for lunch earlier and since we've eaten at practically every fastfood in Ayala, we opted for something new. Rai Rai Ken was out of the equation for now due to budget concerns. The winner? Kenny Rogers' Roasters.

To be fair, the food was actually good. My sister loved their side dishes especially the baby potatoes in sour cream and chives. My only complaint? MORE GRAVY, PLEASE!!! Their measly serving can barely keep up with the size of the chicken. My mistake was that I never bothered to ask if an additional serving would cost extra bucks too. Hmmm, maybe next time.

Currently reading. Support Filipino authors! #ebook #chicklit #bookstagram
I'm currently reading Anne Plaza's In Over Her Head and it feels so good to have my phone double as an e-book reader. It saved me the additional cost of having to buy either a Kobo or a Kindle to rescue me from boredom during long waits. This is why the Mega 5.8's size works for me. I get a phone, camera, an e-book reader and a planner all rolled into one. Hehe. Speaking of the book, please watch out for my review of it soon. Filipino chick lit authors never fail to amaze me.

    1. I don't think it's in bookstores yet, sis. Self-published kasi siya. Got my copy online lang. I prefer e-books lately kasi for storage purposes.

  7. That's the reason why I want to get a tab. For e-book talaga. Hehe. My phone is too small and tried to DL an ebook and I it's a hassle to read. BTW, my phone is a Samsung Galaxy Young.

  8. Have you noticed the interior of Kenny Roger's too? Parang pang fine dining di ba? Siguro instead of napping in the afternoon, I should try reading some novels, sana neighbors tayo so I could lend your books :)
